Refractory Metal & Alloy Spherical Powders

Refractory Metal & Alloy Spherical Powders

Refractory metal and alloy powders are intended for applications requiring combinations of high-temperature capability, high melting temperature, thermal stability and specialized mechanical or physical properties.
The performance of each material is highly composition-dependent. Molybdenum and its alloys, for example, are used in high-temperature and thermal-management applications, while tantalum and niobium are important in selected chemical, electronic and high-temperature environments. TZM is a molybdenum-based alloy developed for improved high-temperature mechanical performance compared with unalloyed molybdenum.
A strict scientific definition of “refractory metals” is not completely uniform across the literature. We therefore use Refractory Metal & Alloy as the product-category designation for this portfolio rather than making a universal classification claim for every element listed
